Village Services

Streets, Water and Sewer
The Village of Dieterich is responsible for providing water and wastewater services to the community.  For information on connecting water, disconnecting, or changing services please contact Village Hall at (217) 925-5410.  The village is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the streets and alleyways of Dieterich.  Problems or concerns can be directed to Village Hall at (217) 925-5410.  Bills are due at the 20th of each month and combine Water, Sewer, and Trash payments.

Trash
The Village of Dieterich currently offers trash pickup once a week on Tuesday mornings through Doty Sanitation in Beecher City. Trash must be brought to the curb in the orange toter provided by Doty Sanitation.  Loose articles of trash will not be collected.  Questions about trash pickup can be directed to Village Hall at (217) 925-5410.

Recycling

Fire
The Dieterich Fire Protection District located in the industrial park provides fire safety services to Dieterich and the surrounding communities.  The Fire Protection District is comprised of 26 volunteer firefighters and emergency first responders having years of training and experience.  In case of emergency ALWAYS CALL 911 FIRST.
