Public Information Meeting Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM

There will be a Public Information Meeting held on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Dieterich Village Hall, 103 W. Section Street, Dieterich, IL 62424 in order to solicit public comment for an OSLAD grant application for proposed improvements to Liberty Park in Dieterich.   

Proposed improvements include a new all-inclusive playground area, pour in place rubber surfacing improvements, new outdoor tables with game boards, two permanent cornhole sets, new wildlife habitats, environmental educational signage and a walking trail map.  We are encouraging all Dieterich residents to come and give input on the park project.
