Notice is hereby given that The Village of Dieterich, Illinois Board of Zoning Appeals and Planning will hold a Public Hearing on January 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 109 North Main Street, Dieterich, Illinois for the purpose of considering the following matters:

1. Proposed Text Amendments to Village of Dieterich, Illinois Land Subdivision Ordinance No. 488, as amended, as follows, to wit:
a. Amendment to Appendix A, “Construction Standards and Specifications for Subdivision Improvements” to the Village of Dieterich, Illinois Land Subdivision Ordinance No. 488, as amended. The amendment is available for inspection at the Village Clerk’s office of the Village Hall, 109 North Main Street, Dieterich.

b. Section 3 of Article 4 of the Village of Dieterich, Illinois Land Subdivision Ordinance No. 488, as amended, be repealed and replaced, as follows:

“Section 3. Minimum Street and Alley Width: (1) Right-of-way width for streets shall be a minimum of 50 feet for urban residential, non-collector streets and 50 feet for all other streets; (2) Pavement surface width shall be a minimum of 24 feet from edge to edge of pavement (exclusive of curb and gutter width) for urban residential, non-collector streets, and a minimum of 24 feet from edge to edge of pavement (exclusive of curb and gutter width) for all other streets; (3) Alleys shall not be provided in a residential block. Alleys are required at the rear of all business lots, unless other adequate provisions are made for services and deliveries, and shall be at least 20 feet wide.”
